Hi!  Thanks for visiting this page to see some skating video clips featuring our son Max.  Max started figure skating in August of 2002 after watching a tape of Olympic gold medalist Alexei Yagudin evening after evening. While he was a late starter at 11 1/2 years of age, 5 years of hockey did help. We parents are enjoying his progress!   We are grateful to Vadim and Evgenia Naumov, 1994 World Pairs Champions, for taking Max on as a student and encouraging his progress.  Thanks also to Carrie Dobek, Garrett Lucash,  and Steve Moore, all of the International Skating Center of Connecticut, in Simsbury.  The International Skating Center was the training home of 2005 U.S. Pairs Gold Medalists Katie Orscher and Garrett Lucash.

Max has worked on the choreography of his programs and on performance style with  Ruslan Goncharov, who with his partner Elena Grushina has won three international Grand Prix gold medals (including Skate America, Skate Canada, and Trophee Lalique).   The ice-dancing team of Grushina and Goncharov has also medaled at the World Championships (3rd, in 2005), and took the Bronze Medal in the 2006 Torino Olympics.
